Chad Upchurch D.C.

Dr. Chad Upchurch, a native of Dickson, Tennessee, founded Curis Functional Health after graduating from Cleveland College of Chiropractic in 1998. Dr. Upchurch grew up in the Fairview/White Bluff area, so Dickson was a perfect fit! Prior to his chiropractic degree, he graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1994 with a major in psychology.

Dr. Upchurch has always had a special place in his heart for the people of Dickson county. He gets up every day trying to reduce the health suffering of the community. As well as teaching a better way of living with a much higher emphasis on wellness and staying healthy! Dickson deserves that! He seeks to find the true cause of the problem rather than chasing symptoms. Dr. Chad Upchurch loves being a Chiropractor in Dickson!

In addition to providing cutting-edge chiropractic care, he also specializes in functional medicine. He writes weekly newspaper articles, holds weekly workshops at his office, and participates with businesses in health fairs and safety lectures. Since opening his chiropractic office in Dickson 18 years ago, he has seen thousands of people improve their health and wellness by embracing the chiropractic lifestyle.

KATIE WILLIAMS

Katie Williams has been working with FIXX since January 2006. She is one of the first smiling faces you will see when you come into our office. Katie was born and raised in Dickson County. She and her husband Randel have a son, Case, and a daughter, Raylie. In her spare time, she loves watching Case and Raylie play baseball/softball and basketball.

CASSIE TUCKER

Cassie Tucker is the “go-to” person for any insurance questions as well as assisting patients with our payment plans. Cassie focuses on helping patients understand their insurance benefits and works with patients to help them afford the care that they need. She also strives to make sure that our patients receive the best customer experience.

Wellness Coordinator

Anissa Parker

Anissa was born and raised in Michigan until 1988 when, still a child, she moved to Humphreys County and has spent most of her years there. She and her fiancé, Chris Ivy, have lived in Charlotte since 2019. Anissa has 2 grown daughters and Chris has 3 grown children.

Anissa has worked for our CBD and Supplements store Nature's Fixx, formerly on Hwy 46 in Dickson, for 2 years and as of Dec. 2021 we brought the store into Curis Functional Health. Now Anissa is able to have one on one consultations with patients, giving them customized care and still be able to serve the public as well. She is very knowledgeable and has 12 years background in health and nutrition. She can definitely help guide you on your wellness journey!

In her free time, Anissa and her fiancé, Chris, enjoy gardening, hiking, canoeing and working out at the local YMCA.
